We are delighted that the Head of Academic Programmes at The Royal Academy of Arts, Dr Anna Dempster, will be talking at our second Mayfair research forum next week, about the recent launch of the institution's first ever Executive Master in Cultural Leadership - the announcement being part of the RA's 250th year of celebrations programme. which begin in May. The first students will be starting in October.

This unique Executive MA run in partnership with Maasticht University in the Netherlands is designed for a generation of leaders who want to bring a rich understanding of culture and creativity to their own organisations. Taught in London, Maastricht and Brussels, more than eight intensive modules will explore critical perspectives in arts and culture, art business, art law, technology and innovation, collecting and collections management, exhibitions and temporary events.

MBA status can be earned by completing three extra modules of the Maastricht MBA programme. Students will enjoy access to the RA's resources and visits to the international arts events including Frieze, TEFAF and BRAFA along with internships in leading arts and cultural institutions.

Our second research forum on the cultural quarter of Mayfair, follows our larger conference at RIBA in January where the Royal Academy of Arts' Chief Executive, Charles Saumarez Smith, spoke about his hopes for the future of the area. Next month, he will officially opened a new series of galleries, learning spaces and lecture theatre in the building featured in the image above.

Anna - who published "Risk and Uncertainty in the Art World" in 2014 - will be joined by fellow speakers from The Ritz Hotel, Mayfair Capital, PLP Architecture, Native Land, Corbin & King and St James' Conservation Trust.
