New tricks for Bao Bao bag

Issey Miyake is adding lighting bolts to her Bao Bao which has been applauded by architects and designers!

It is all part of a re-design for the famous handbag to include arrows and circles and is a new move away from the triangular structure since 2000 when the bag was created.

The bag literally changes shape as it is carried, with the PVC panels mounted on a mesh underlayer causing movement. The handles are also adjustable.

When it is launched in November, the bags will be able to be bought in monochrome black or white as well as multi-coloured prints.
