PwC leads on health technology consulting
We were delighted to have Healthcare Consulting Lead, Brian Pomering, from PwC at Healthy Cities to pour light on the challenges within this area.

Brian explained how in the UK we are still very attached to our large hospital institutions and how important it is to give confidence to government, physicians and the public to accept the benefits of new healthcare technology.
'So much money is piled into innovations that it is difficult for physicians to know which of the latest technology should be focussed on and taken up. There is a fear of making the wrong decision and so an atmosphere of inertia is created' says Brian.
ConvaTec joined us in the audience along with members of the GLA's health committee and academics who welcomed the insights from PwC.
