Please read our just published online 10,000 word research report based on our 'Art, Investment and Cities' forum at RIBA, London which also has new content and updates from our round table series on cultural London districts.

It is published a week ahead of the Royal Academy of Art's 250th celebrations which will include the unveiling of new architecture galleries as well as a new lecture theatre and connects the famous art school with the museum buildings more effectively.

The RA's Chief Executive Charles Saumarez Smith was our keynote speaker at our January forum during which he highlighted the challenges for the immediate area around Cork Street. Charles stated the importance of keeping artists' galleries in place and open at weekends to boost the cultural life of the streets around the institution.

The report looks at themes such as : appropriate arts funding for regeneration, the London Borough of Culture Award, art and culture in the future high street, art and culture in city identities, impact of art on mental health in cities, the legal risks of investing in art.
