Developer Lateral joins our 'Knowledge Cities' this November

Co-founder of Lateral, Rob Beacroft, will be speaking at our 'Knowledge Cities' event this November at the former 18th century Royal Hospital London, now Tower Hamlets town hall. Lateral invested in a half acre site for development adjacent to the modern Royal London Hospital in March this year.


The November event will look at how the creation of the new life sciences district in Whitechapel will be good for the local and broader UK economy and how it will complement leading science clusters in London, Cambridge and beyond, in terms of health research specialities. How will the buildings and facilities help to attract international talent to the research hub in Whitechapel and how will the community benefit in terms of training and jobs that will be on offer?

Rob, as co-founder of Lateral, is responsible for innovating and implementing development strategies, including delivery of Ampers&. Prior to Lateral, Rob was a banker at Coutts & Co and in 2010 established a privately owned property development business ARC, specialising in value-add luxury residential and commercial property across London.


Rob holds a degree in Business Management and post graduate qualifications in Law.
