L&G city regeneration agenda

Legal and General Capital (LGC), will join the city regeneration discussions at The Future Cities Forum, Savoy Place, London on 6th March.

LGC's Director of Direct Investments, Laura Mason, who will be speaking, has made successful investments in Cardiff's £400m Central Square project (pictured above), Leeds' £400m Thorpe Park scheme, and is currently involved in developing Newcastle's Science Central quarter.

The investment business has access to a portfolio of strategically important regeneration schemes that are transforming and reshaping Britain's landscape, bringing jobs and housing back into the centre of cities and improving our existing infrastructure.

Laura is responsible for setting the direct investment strategy for L&G's principal balance sheet. She is also Head of Urban Regeneration and Energy - two sectors in which L&G is planning to spend £2bn over the next four years. LGC also launched a modular housing business in 2015, providing modern, precision-engineered factory made houses through a new factory just outside Leeds.

LGC are partnering with the Government's Regeneration Investment Organisation (RIO) to source projects and attract foreign investment into the UK as co-investors.
