New London quarter for galleries and artists

An innovative new approach for artists to show their work in galleries is opening up in London.

Scheduled to open in autumn 2019, Cromwell Place, London, offers flexible space for galleries and artists needing a presence in the capital.

Five Grade II listed buildings close to the V&A in South Kensington provide a variety of well proportioned exhibition spaces, viewing rooms, permanent offices as well as hot desking, art storage, technical, logistical and marketing support.

Membership is open to UK and international galleries, art dealers, advisers and curators. Cromwell Place aims to enhance the ambitions of those staging exhibitions.

Sixteen exhibition rooms varying in size from 56 to 214 square meters are each equipped with museum-grade lighting systems, individual security and communications. Technicians are on hand to provide assistance with installation, fabrication, packing, photography and shipping.
