Mayfair 2: Crossrail boosts business space above Bond Street Station

PLP Architecture will be speaking at our next Cultural Mayfair research forum in April.

Ron Bakker, Founding Partner of PLP Architecture will be discussing the Westminster City Council approved Crossrail and Grosvenor new office development at 65 Davies Street in Mayfair. above Bond Street Station in London. The 65.000 square foot office development comprises six floors of office accommodation and is designed to be sensitive to the traditional architecture of neighbouring Mayfair buildings.

The plans incorporate a ventilation shaft constructed as part of the works to build the Crossrail Station's Western ticket hall. Passenger numbers are expected to increase to 225,000 when Crossrail services - the high speed east-west link through London - arrive this year. The development is considered to be a step towards boosting the West End's position as a thriving business, cultural and retail destination.
