Homes England at Future Cities Forum Royal Arsenal

We are delighted to welcome Homes England to our 22nd November Future Cities Forum at Royal Arsenal Woolwich to speak about the importance of modern methods of construction.

Senior Land Manager, Phil Collings will describe how MMC is changing the scale and speed of development in building homes in the UK.

Phil has over 10 years' experience of buying and selling land for residential and mixed commercial uses and has acted for a wide range of partners in the North West region - including local authorities, registered providers, urban regeneration companies and private sector developers.

Since joining Homes England (and its forerunner the HCA) in 2014, Phil has led on some of the Agency's most high profile land transactions - and has served as lead project manager for the successful residential-led regeneration of Ancoats, the inner city district in East Manchester.

Homes England - formed from the Homes and Communities Agency - was launched at the last Autumn Budget in 2017 as one of the government's measures to fix the broken housing market. While the Regulator of Social Housing is now a standalone body, Homes England is developing a new commercial approach to acquiring, preparing, managing and developing land in areas of high and strategic importance. It supports builders of all sizes.
