Heritage Lottery Fund at Future Cities Forum
Ros Kerslake, OBE, Chief Executive of the Heritage Lottery Fund, will be speaking at our 'Art Investment and Cities' Forum on 25th January, RIBA, London.
Ros was made Chief Executive of the HLF and the Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) in 2016 following her work at the Prince's Regeneration Trust where she was also Chief Executive.
Chair of the HLF, Sir Peter Luff, commented on her appointed: 'Ross Kerslake has a rich background in heritage and an impressive commitment to the role it plays in making people's lives better...Ross will join HLF at an exciting time, delivering new schemes to support skills, young people and resilience in the sector.'
Ros trained as a solicitor and started her career in legal roles before taking on wider leadership positions in the private sector, including the Gulf Oil and Booker Group. As Property Director at Railtrack, she developed an interest in the issues around place and urban regeneration.
She currently sits on The Heritage Alliance Board and chairs the Regeneration Leaders Network. Ros is a non-executive director of U + I group, a regeneration based property developer and a member of the Community, Voluntary & Local Services Advisory Committee. Ros was awarded an OBE in the 2015 New Year's Honours List for services to British Heritage.
